Potential researchers can access the data collated through the Gut Reaction Hub by submitting a data access request to the NIHR IBD BioResource outlining their proposed study and detailing appropriate funding support.
The HDR UK Innovation Gateway also provides a portal for potential researchers to view hundreds of datasets, tools and resources, including the Gut Reaction datasets, you can access it here.
All applications must demonstrate an expectation of benefit to patient health and provide a description of their project in ‘plain English’ (also known as a lay summary) to support review by patient representatives.
Our data application pathway depends on the origin and nature of the request.
